Harrington sack-lifter reduces wear on bags

HFPSL Harrington Hoists is offering this new device for lifting bulk container sacks, which are used to hold resin, additives and other bulk materials. Called a four-point sack-lifter beam, it comes in two sizes, with capacities of 2,200 pounds and 4,400 pounds; it also comes in a low-headroom version. The "standard sling-keeper" design holds the bag's straps in place during lifting. The HFPSL is made of alloy steel, meets ASME B30.20 and BTH-1 Service Class 2 standards for below-the-hook lifting devices and is proof-tested to 125 percent of capacity.

What's new? The device, which has been available for several months.
