Epsilon Applied Robotics' new line of tool changers includes models that are compatible with all robots that have payloads of 22 pounds to 3,300 pounds. Made of high-strength materials, they are designed for minimal maintenance, and the devices' locking mechanisms are guaranteed for life.

What's new? The line. While some of the company's tool changers for larger robots have been available for a year, tool changers for smaller robots have been gradually released over the past several months.

Benefits Greater productivity and a safer work environment. Robots equipped with the tool changers can perform more than one task, easily shuttling between different tools without work stoppages. In this way, plants can operate with fewer robots, saving money as well as space. Also, because robots, rather than humans, manage tool changes, they can avoid unnecessary interactions with operators.
