Discovery SDT 650 This differential scanning calorimeter and thermogravimetric analyzer (DSC/TGA) provides simultaneous, real-time heat flow and weight measurements for research and in production control environments. They can measure crystallinity, product stability, heat capacity, phase changes and weight loss, among other things. The SDT 650 has a double horizontal furnace, an app-style touch screen, and the company's TRIOS control and analysis software. It comes with a five-year furnace warranty and is available with several options, including a 30-position autosampler and a four-gas blending module.

Benefits Accuracy and productivity. The SDT 650's dual-sample TGA mode can double productivity, the double furnace offers greater temperature sensitivity, and it can cool a sample from 2,732 degrees Fahrenheit to 212 degrees in about 40 minutes for faster sample turnaround.
