Omega's new handheld dual-laser infrared thermometer provides simple, noncontact measurement of temperatures up to 2,912 degrees Fahrenheit.

OS758-LS Omega's new handheld dual-laser infrared thermometer provides simple, noncontact measurement of temperatures up to 2,912 degrees Fahrenheit. Users simply aim the device and pull the trigger; the surface temperature is displayed within a second. The device's high distance-to-spot ratio of 60-to-1 means that it can precisely measure the temperature of an area 1 inch in diameter from 60 inches away. The OS758-LS features a color, backlit LCD and a high/low temperature alarm. Uses include monitoring production lines, electrical maintenance, testing of HVAC systems and laboratory applications.
