ColorSave-Micro This masterbatch gravimetric feeder from Liad Weighing and Control Systems Ltd. is designed to dispense small doses for injection molding, extrusion and extrusion blow molding operations. It is compatible with most forms of additives, including pellets, regrind, powders and microgranules. It uses a single vibrating channel to consistently deliver the correct dose, which can be as small as a single pellet. Carolina Color is the U.S. distributor for Misgav, Israel-based Liad.

What's new? Numerous upgrades, including a different weighing card, mechanical changes to the dispenser and improved software. Also, the venturi loader assembly has an additional valve beneath the receiver to prevent dripping.

Benefits Better accuracy and material flow. The new weighing card, which acts as an interpreter between the PLC and the load cell, improves dosing accuracy, while the changes to the dispenser prevent material from sticking.
