B2-250 EB2.LC This new winder from Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, Troisdorf, Germany, is used in the production of plastic monofilament and is compatible with extrusion equipment from any supplier. It incorporates a load cell and dancer arm to precisely control the tension on the monofilament at speeds of about 1,500 feet per minute. The company can customize the winder to include various combinations of features, depending on customers' needs.
What's new? The winder, which recently hit the market. Reifenhäuser exhibited it at the K show after testing it in customers' plants since late 2015. It fills a gap between the company's most basic winders and its fully automated Speed Master RM 1000, which can reach speeds of almost 3,300 feet per minute.
