Connected Services ABB now offers users of its robots an Internet of Things (IoT) suite of services to connect them to support services and provide access to predictive maintenance data. ABB robots operating at any factory can be connected through the internet to a centralized ABB system that monitors their performance. Suite services include condition monitoring and diagnostics, backup management, remote access, fleet management and asset optimization.

What's new? The services, which ABB presented at the K show.

Benefits Increased robot uptime and greater efficiency. With Connected Services, users can leverage robot data to quickly address maintenance issues and improve their robots' reliability.
