Ultra Purge 8516 Moulds Plus' new Ultra Purge 8516 is designed to combat buildup of conductive PP materials, and it can also clean hard-to-remove colorants from the screw, barrel and hot runner. It combines Ultra-X, a proprietary, mineral-filled HDPE, and the active ingredient of Ultra Purge. With this combination, Ultra Purge 8516 has Ultra-X's mechanical cleaning action and Ultra Purge's chemical cleaning action.

Benefits Efficient material removal, resulting in less downtime and a reduction in scrap. Typically, when compared to conventional purging compounds, only about one-third to one-half the amount of Ultra Purge 8516 is needed for purging machines. It is effective at purging all thermoplastic processing machines, and can handle dark- to light-color changes and carbon removal, as well as material changes.
