This new line of resin dryers from Koch-Technik relies on dehumidified air.

EKO This new line of resin dryers from Koch-Technik relies on dehumidified air. It features modular construction, which means that units can be expanded with additional drying containers. The line has a dew point controller to ensure that the drying air is always within the ideal range. If the dew point drops too low, the controller switches the dryer over to a new desiccant capsule. The dryers are available in 110, 200, 300, 500 and 800 versions; the numbers refer to the volume of drying air each model generates, in cubic meters per hour.

What's new? Availability in the U.S. Though Koch-Technik currently has no U.S. distributor, the dryers are available for sale here through the company's German headquarters.

Benefits Up to 50 percent energy savings and assured quality of heat-sensitive resins. The frequency-controlled blowers automatically and continuously adapt the flow of dry air to the actual demand to reduce energy consumption. The patented ECO control system protects heat-sensitive resins from damage by stopping the flow of hot air to resin containers when the resin reaches a set temperature, and then resumes drying automatically as needed.
