LVA 600 This in-line gas analyzer from Bonfiglioli Engineering srl, Vigarano Pieve, Italy, uses a noncontact, nondestructive method to monitor the headspace in pharmaceutical containers. The laser-based technology detects the concentration of moisture and gases such as oxygen in filled containers. The unit, which can be easily incorporated into existing production lines, also is ideal for monitoring closure integrity.

What's new The product. Introduced in Europe in June, the LVA 600 is now available through the firm's U.S. headquarters.

Benefits Fast, reliable and repeatable test results. The monitoring speed can be increased by installing additional laser heads.
