12-element Guardian Series 2 batch blender This 12-kilogram batch blender in Process Control Corp.'s Guardian Series 2 features 12 elements for a custom compounding application.
What's new? A 12-element configuration with each segment dedicated to a different material. Guardian Series 2 blenders can be configured with four- to 12-ingredient hoppers for throughput rates to 10,000 pounds per hour. Standard Series 2 features include off-the-shelf controls, a color touch screen, removable cartridge V-gate metering, segmented hoppers and a mixing chamber with a see-through door. The first 12 kg Guardian Series 2 model was released in 2011.
Benefits Elimination of multi-hopper material cleanout. Also, each hopper can run up to 100 percent of the recipe, with dispensing accuracy within 0.02 percent and throughput rates of 10,000 pounds per hour.
