Alliance LP-22 linear sensor resists dust, high shocks

Nov. 25, 2014

LP-22 sensor  This linear potentiometer from the Alliance Sensors Group of H.G. Schaevitz LLC is made for applications like robotics control, X-Y table feedback, injection molding machine slides, press or die arm positioning and control valve shaft positioning.

What's new?  New to Alliance's linear position products, the LP-22 sensor has a range of 1 inch to 12 inches with linearity greater than 0.1 percent. The sensor operates in temperatures from -40 degrees to 302 degrees Fahrenheit with environmental sealing that meets IEC standard IP-64. Maximum electrical power input is 12 to 36 volts of direct current at 12 milliamperes or less and maximum output resistance between 1 kilohm and 5 kilohms.

Benefits  A rugged anodized aluminum housing, with an outer diameter of 22mm, keeps out dust and withstands high shocks and vibration. Swivel rod eyes on both ends are standard and self-align during installation.
