Lindner announced its continuing expansion with the foundation of Lindner Recyclingtech Bharat (India) LLP, with its headquarters in Delhi.
With the world’s second-largest population at 1.4 billion people and the fifth-largest economy, India produces about 68 million tons of waste every year. While a range of government initiatives is intended to raise awareness of the issue and boost recycling, the output of waste is still rising, and unmet recycling opportunities still exist. Beyond regulation, appropriate recycling technologies also are required.
“By founding Lindner Recyclingtech Bharat, we want to contribute to returning greater quantities of reusable materials back into the loop or the circular economy,” said Manual Lindner, CEO and owner of Lindner Recyclingtech. “This needs the right shredders and system solutions as well as the relevant expertise. Together with Chirag Verma and Ganesh Karankal, who are both experienced and respected businessmen, we wish to promote the expansion of sustainable recycling solutions in the Indian market and contribute our expertise.” Verma is co-owner of Lindner Bharat, and Karankal is its sales director of plastics recycling.
Lindner Recyclingtech GmbH is a family enterprise based in Spittal an der Drau, Austria, that manufactures recycling solutions and shredders. In addition to Lindner Recyclingtech Bharat, the company has subsidiaries in Germany, the United States, Singapore and France.
