Farrel Pomini, which manufactures mixing and compounding equipment for polymer processing, has earned a gold medal rating from EcoVadis for sustainable management.
EcoVadis rates businesses based on environmental impact, labor and human rights standards, ethics and procurement practices. It measures the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through policies, actions and results. The gold medal places Farrel Pomini in the top 5 percent of companies globally.
“We take our role in furthering sustainability and a circular economy for the plastics industry very seriously – and our internal operations and practices reflect that commitment. Our recognition by EcoVadis validates our activities and positions us to continue further,” said Farrel Pomini president Paul Lloyd.
Participation in the EcoVadis assessment process allows companies to gain insights into sustainability performance among peers and connect with other companies committed to sustainability and decarbonization.
