ABMF-1600-TH This automatic belt melt filter, BritAS’ largest model, is specifically designed for post-consumer recycling applications. It can be used in single and twin-screw extrusion systems with capacities from 4,000 pounds per hour to 13,250 pounds per hour. Melt buffer volume ranges from 12 quarts to 26 quarts.
What’s new? The 1,600-square-centimeter filter area, which comes through two ABMF filter units connected by melt adapters. The support plate design consists of a grid and die plate that improves throughput, minimizes pressure and provides more gentle processing.
Benefits Melt loss of less than 1 percent. This results in lower operating costs. The ABMF-1600-TH can be retrofitted from discontinuous to continuous operation.
