Bausano extruder handles heavily contaminated waste

E-GO R This Bausano single-screw extruder is designed to recycle and repelletize post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste, such as heavily printed plastic scrap. The E-GO R comes in six models, yielding outputs from 397 pounds to 2,425 pounds per hour, and handles a range of resins, including HDPE, LDPE and PP. Bausano is represented in the North American market by Mercer Process Equipment Inc. and IMS Tri Mechanical LLC.

Benefits Efficient processing of highly contaminated plastic waste. The E-GO R combines a screw with an optimized L/D ratio with a powerful single- or dual-zone vacuum degassing system to deal with material containing volatiles or significant water content. It performs plasticization and pelletization functions in one step, and is ideal for crushed regrinds or flakes. Its immersion cutting system provides perfectly uniform pellets.
