Compact+ Pellenc ST’s new sorter for recycling has a small footprint, and can easily fit in settings where space and access are limited. It is especially well-suited for use as a retrofit, and, to meet the requirements of the space, it can be ordered in either a conveyor or gantry configuration, and its remote electrical cabinet can be positioned up to 15 feet away. It can interface with all types of high-speed conveyors from different suppliers, and is compatible with belt speeds of up to 14.7 feet per second.

What’s new? The Compact+, which is the new generation of Pellenc’s Mistral + Connect. It features a new spectrometer with an extended near infrared/visible spectrum.

Benefits Adaptability, and the recovery of valuable materials. The company says the spectrometer’s focused illumination  which the company calls its “Flow” system  enables recovery of materials from the material stream with high levels of purity, including PET, PE, PP and film. Pellenc’s Central Nervous System software allows users to update it with future technologies, such as watermarking and artificial intelligence. The Compact+ also offers improved ergonomics, with a large screen, pivoting reflectors and a sensitivity selector.
