Typhoon mixer The Typhoon vertical auger mixer from Ensign Equipment draws material including pellets, flakes and granules from the bottom of its hopper and lets the material fall in a 360-degree pattern around the mixer to produce a homogenous mixture.
What’s new? Turnkey options. Ensign is now able to offer the Typhoon mixer as part of a complete solution that includes, for example, a vacuum loading and discharge system, scales/load cells and dedusting systems.
Benefits Quick, efficient and economical mixing of free-flowing bulk solids. This allows recyclers to maximize profits by producing truckload-sized batches of pre- or post-pelletized resins blended with a percentage of recycled content to match their customers’ specifications. When paired with Ensign’s automatic loading and unloading systems, material can be added to Typhoon mixers from multiple sources and/or be sent to multiple destinations without requiring help from multiple employees. The mixers are available in 15 models, with capacities ranging from 75 cubic feet to 1,300 cubic feet.
