What’s new? The Senturion, which was created specifically for customers working with plastics and fiber-reinforced plastics. It can remove highly combustible plastic — or fiber-reinforced plastic — dust from the air, whether it’s generated during manufacturing, pelletizing, conveying, cutting, grinding or finishing of plastic materials. Optional features include static-reducing filter media; HEPA or activated-carbon after-filters to control ultra-fine particulates, vapors, gases and odors; explosion protection; and CO2 or chemical fire suppression.
Benefits Efficiency, versatility and worker safety. RoboVent says Senturion offers the highest cubic feet per minute of filtration for its footprint in the industry. The units are built with two- or four-cartridge frames, which can be assembled to meet the specific requirements of each application. This modular design allows a multitude of configurations to fit the available space and meet dust or fume collection needs. Accessible filters and dust bins make maintenance fast and easy. Each unit’s cabinet is constructed of 7-gauge and 11-gauge steel, and powder coated inside and out for long life. The Senturion comes with a 15-year warranty on its workmanship.
