Automatic melt filter gains finer screen

RAS Fimic’s automatic, self-cleaning RAS melt filter features a laser-drilled screen. The melt filter has two blades that scrape off contamination, which is automatically ejected through a discharge valve.   

What’s new? A finer screen. Fimic now offers a screen that is targeted specifically at heavily contaminated resins and provides filtration as fine as 80 microns.  

Benefits Cleaner recycled resin that retains its mechanical properties. Because the RAS is automated, it is possible to process highly contaminated materials continuously without constant operator involvement.
