Kaeser adds rotary-screw compressor

The SFC 110M features a new airend and is compact, energy-efficient and easy to maintain.

Variable-frequency-drive compressors Kaeser makes a host of rotary-screw compressors that can speed up and slow down to match air output to demand, automatically adjusting the frequency of the input electricity to the motor. 

What’s new? The 150-horsepower SFC 110M compressor, which features a new airend, called the Sigma Profile, driven by a permanent magnet motor. Like other Kaeser compressors, it has a speed-controlled fan with a brushless direct-current motor for better cooling and the Sigma Control 2 technology for superior condition monitoring and external communication capabilities. Integrated refrigerated dryers are available with improved service access.
