Nov. 11, 2024
The SM1008S has an accuracy to within 20 microns and requires no complex programming.

SM1008S Using a proprietary optical system and traditional sensor technology, Mitutoyo’s first non-contact line-laser sensor can perform both 2D profile measurements and comprehensive 3D dimensional inspections. Equipped with software with defect-detection and measurement tools for a wide array of characteristics, including height, width, volume and flatness, the technology can be used to measure intricate details and complex surfaces for 100 percent in-line inspection.

What’s new? The metrology technology.

Benefits Reliable and consistent measurements, and precision and accuracy. The SM1008S has an accuracy to within 20 microns and a Z-axis repeatability of 0.5 micron. It requires no complex programming.
