Roemheld table safely transports molds and dies

The RWS has an integrated control system, lifting bars and a system that moves heavy dies and molds via roller rails.

RWS die changing table Roemheld’s rail-guided table can be used to safely transport heavy dies and molds. The electrically driven system can be used to change dies and molds on all types of machines, including vertical forming and injection molding machines. An integrated control system in the cart allows for precise positioning and semi-automatic or fully automatic die changes. The RWS is available as a single or tandem cart, and standardized base plates allow the system to accommodate dies of different sizes. The RWS is available in three versions for loads of up to 16.5, 27.5, or 44 tons per die.

What’s new? The RWS, which debuted in June.

Benefits Faster, more efficient mold and die exchanges. The RWS has integrated lifting bars and a pull-push system that moves the dies onto and off the press bed via roller rails that boast a rolling resistance so low that loads of up to 5 tons can be moved manually by one person. A safety mechanism ensures loads can be moved only when the RWS is firmly attached to the press or the storage space. A cabled remote control for the semi-automatic system version makes using the cart simpler and safer for the operator; a wireless version also is available. The RWS also provides maximum repeatability and precision of up to plus or minus 0.3mm.
