MiVue This plant monitoring software, named for the ACS Group division that provides it, can connect numerous pieces of auxiliary equipment, including blenders, conveying systems, granulators, central and portable chillers, temperature control units, extrusion control hoppers and gravimetric additive feeders. MiVue connection kits can be installed with new equipment, retrofitted with older equipment and incorporated into custom system integration projects.
What’s new? Features including: the Job Report Module for lot tracking and quality accountability; the Material Usage Module for tracking manufacturing material assets and costs; and the Preventative Maintenance Module to assist with maintaining proper maintenance scheduled for each machine type. MiVue also boasts overall layout and control improvements based on user input.
Benefits Increased uptime. Alerts allow equipment operators to react quickly to problems, analyze downtime types and reasons, and perform predictive maintenance by using data and analytic tools before problems arise. Operational costs can be reduced through expanded process insights that improve quality control, reduce scrap and control material usage by allowing users to set up material lists and generate material usage reports.
