Seco expands its tooling line

Steadyline Seco Tools has expanded its Steadyline series of long-reach turning/ boring bars and heads. They use a passive/dynamic vibration damping system to reduce tool chatter. 

What’s new?  Additional sizes. Seco has added a 25mm- and a 100mm-diameter Steadyline bar, as well as new boring heads that allow for rough and fine boring at diameters from 66mm to 115mm.

Benefits Long, accurate holes. The bars can have tool lengths up to 10 times their diameter, giving access deep into dies and molds.
