Core-pulling units are clean, accurate

Oct. 14, 2024
The SLY units from Servomold are customizable and appropriate for clean-room applications.

SLY core-pulling unit These servo-electric core-pulling units are equipped with ball-screw drives, which position slides and cores with high accuracy. Their carriage contains precision bores with fine centering elements for the assembly of universal slides. Linear guides are integrated into the units instead of slide guides inside the mold frame, which makes the unit more compact and easier to maintain. The units are customizable, allowing for multi-stage movements and for different slider bodies to be mounted on the carriage. Made by Servomold GmbH & Co. KG, Erbach, Germany, the core-pulling units are available from DME.

What’s new? The core-pulling units, debuting at Fakuma.

Benefits Highly accurate, clean-room-compatible performance for applications such as sleeve-shaped housings and cartridge holders for medical technology systems. They can be used on new or existing molds.
