The systems from Oerlikon HRSflow improve cycle and color change times, and reduce scrap.

Multiflow HRS Oerlikon HRSflow’s Multiflow HRS hot-runner systems are compatible with a range of challenging applications, including thin-wall packaging, single-serving capsules, beverage, beauty and personal care items, and medical and high-performance technical parts. This multi-cavity line is designed to handle low shot weights ranging from 0.5 gram to 120 grams, depending on the polymer used.

What’s new? The Multiflow HRS system.

Benefits Improved cycle times, reduced scrap and fast color changes. Versions of the Multiflow HRS are adapted to each of its applications — for example, systems for thin-wall packaging can withstand high injection pressures and improve the aesthetic finish of the part, while providing corrosion-resistant nozzle components and easy maintenance. Systems for technical applications offer improved wear resistance to handle the challenges posed by mechanically or chemically abrasive fillers, tight process windows and high molding temperatures.
