The Yu Drive II Eco provides individual control over servo valve gates using only the signal from the IMM.

Yu Drive II Eco This servo controller for Yudo’s hot-runner manifolds provides individual control over servo valve gates using only the signal from the injection molding machine. Offering about 80 percent of the functionality of the fuller-featured Yu Drive II controller, it’s appropriate for all but the most demanding applications requiring the highest levels of precision, such as the manufacture of automotive lenses.

What’s new? The device, which was on display at NPE2024.

Benefits Cost-effectiveness, energy-efficiency and accuracy. The “eco” in the controller’s name stands for “economical,” and, compared with hydraulic or pneumatic controls, it is available at a capital-expenditure savings of around $20,000 to $25,000. It eliminates the cost and space required for additional controls, and has minimal energy requirements and can be powered sustainably, such as through solar power. Using the Yu Drive II Eco results in quick and balanced filling, without any flow marks or marks from gases.
