Hasco India was awarded prizes in both the “tool and moldmaking” as well as the “hot-runner technology” categories in a competition hosted by trade journal Modern Plastics India.
Hasco’s Loc Check, which employs a magnetically attached transmitter that is easily mounted on molds and allows users to find the location of a mold via a GSM mobile network, was honored alongside its Streamrunner, an additively manufactured hot-runner manifold.
Additionally, the company’s Streamrunner Multicolour was awarded first place in the “Moldmaking and Design” category for a contest run by German journal Kunststoff Magazin. The product maximizes design freedom and can optimize flow channels by avoiding sharp edges.
