PCS Co., Fraser, Mich., recently unveiled an online configurator that lets users get quotes on standard mold bases.
Users can select options such as steel type and plate thickness from a set of dropdown lists, then generate a CAD drawing of the mold base they have created in a range of formats and versions. After verifying the mold base’s drawing, measurements, list of parts and quantities, users can save the configuration or place an order.
