Haas unit can handle 55-pound loads

Robot package 2 Robot packages from Haas are plug-and-play systems that automate loading and unloading tasks for many of its CNC machining and turning centers. They include an appropriately sized six-axis robot, a Haas control, mounting pedestal, a single gripper, parts table, safety guarding and necessary peripheral equipment.

What’s new? Robot package 2, which fills an intermediate-sized role in the product line. This package comes with a Fanuc M-20iD/25 robot arm, which has a maximum load capacity at the wrist of 55.1 pounds and is sized to work with Haas medium vertical machining centers and ST-20 through ST-35 turning centers. Robot package 1 has a maximum capacity of 15.4 pounds, and robot package 3 has a maximum capacity of 110 pounds. The starting price for robot package 2 is $74,995.

 Benefits Ease of use. The all-inclusive package can be set up in hours rather than days, and no third-party integration is needed. Everything is controlled through the Haas control and Remote Jog Handle with Touchscreen Display. The package can handle both automated batch and lights-out production. Haas provides customers with many resources, including technical documents and installation guides.
