Plug baffles Hasco’s nylon plug baffles direct the fluid flowing through the cooling channels in injection mold cores. In taller mold cores, this allows the cooling water to go up one side and down the other, instead of flowing only underneath or around the outside of the core. Molded from a general-purpose nylon, they are chemical resistant, easily cut to the correct length and can handle water or oil as hot as 356 degrees Fahrenheit.

Benefits Efficient cooling, especially in taller mold cores that may not have enough room for running multiple cooling channels around the outside of the core. Additionally, the plug baffles have an internal thread for fast and easy dismantling.
