Slide retainers Hasco’s Z1892 and Z1893 slide retainers can be used for both injection and compression molds and feature a low-friction, nitrided titanium roller bar that makes lubrication unnecessary. This makes it suited for clean-room use. The compact devices are appropriate for use in temperatures up to 428 degrees Fahrenheit and provide holding forces from 2.2 to 79.4 pounds. Their springs can be exchanged to adjust the holding force.
