Double Quattromill 14 This face milling cutter from Seco uses double-sided inserts with eight cutting edges. It comes in a 45-degree-angle version that can cut to depths of up 0.236 inch and a 68-degree version that can cut as deep as 0.315 inch. The company offers it in standard or close-pitch, as well as fixed-pocket and cassette styles. Available in three insert ranges with a variety of edges and grades, the cutter can be used in roughing, semi-finishing and finishing operations, and to machine mold and die plates.
