W837 pro Wittmann Battenfeld's new W837 pro in-mold labeling system features 11 servo axes that allow it to simultaneously separate labels, insert them into the injection mold and remove the finished parts. A separate axis specifically for stacking the finished parts ensures precise positioning. A camera control system is optional.
What's new? The W837 pro, which made its debut in October at Fakuma in Friedrichshafen, Germany. At the show, the system labeled injection molded lids produced in a four-cavity mold in a cycle time of less than 3.5 seconds. It will be available in the U.S. in the second quarter.
Benefits Fast, efficient operation. The system boasts accelerations of 262.5 feet per second squared due to the use of two synchronized servo drives that power motion on the machine's horizontal axis. Also, the W837 has a modular design and a small footprint, allowing it to easily access the molding machine.
