Evosys, a manufacturer of laser welding equipment for plastics, has added Marie Schafnitzl and Oliver Brandmayer to the management board as of Oct. 1.
Schafnitzl, as head of finance, will be primarily responsible for controlling, accounting, information technology, marketing and communication, as well as insurance and infrastructure management, including mobility management. During her time at the company, she has built up the training program and contributed to the development of the site.
Technical director Brandmayer has been an integral part of Evosys since the company was founded, serving as head of development and project management. He is responsible for product safety and will assume responsibility for engineering and project management.
The company is emphasizing sustainable management and a strong market orientation to respond to customer needs. It is aiming to improve its environmental footprint beginning in the development and procurement phases, conserving resources and improving energy efficiency.
Evosys is based in Erlangen, Germany.
