KMP 600-S Kuka manufactures a range of automated guided vehicles to complement its robotic systems. Its mobile platforms include the KMP 600-S diffDrive, which has an integrated lifting device that can rise up to about 2.4 inches in 3 seconds and carry a payload of up to 1,322 pounds. It has front- and rear-mounted laser scanners, as well as eight safety zones that allow the vehicle to adjust its speed to safety requirements.

Benefits Efficient movement of materials through human workspaces without the need for safety fencing. The KMP 600-S employs Kuka’s NavigationSolution software, which allows it to map its surroundings and determine the best route among a network of paths to use to avoid collisions. Its safety features allow it to reach optimum cycle times, with travel speeds of up to about 6.6 feet per second and the ability to reach full speed in all directions of travel. The KMP 600-S has an IP54 rating for use in environments with dust or water spray.
