FactoryTalk View SE improves data access

May 26, 2022
Rockwell's software can be used to update capabilities of HMIs on a wide range of equipment.

FactoryTalk Rockwell’s FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) software gives users the ability to upgrade the capabilities of HMIs on a range of equipment throughout a facility. It can be installed by OEMs or end users to provide a modern user experience.

What’s new? FactoryTalk View SE V13, which debuted this spring.

Benefits Improved data access. Legacy HMIs can make it difficult for operators and analytics teams to get data in a form that helps them improve part quality or track performance. With FactoryTalk, users can choose how data and alarms are displayed to provide a uniform operating experience, as well as coordinate recipes and material management across a range of different types of equipment. These improvements can make operators more efficient and allow for a big-picture view of the entire process to keep production lines running at a high level of performance. Mobile HMI views offer system visibility via iOS or Android devices from anywhere.
