Brückner Group announces management changes

Markus Gschwandtner succeeds Helmut Huber, who has retired as managing director of sales and project and product management at Brückner Maschinenbau.

The Brückner Group has promoted two managers following a significant retirement.

Helmut Huber, managing director of sales and project and product management at Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH, retired at the end of 2024. Over his 33-year tenure, Huber served in positions including technical buyer, head of assembly, project manager, head of project management, and since 2016, managing director and CSO.

Markus Gschwandtner succeeded Huber as of Jan. 1. He has more than 35 years of experience in the film stretching industry, including as regional sales manager for China and later as head of sales for the Eastern region at Brückner Maschinenbau. Since 2016, he has been managing director / CEO of Brückner Servtec, overseeing sales and technology and driving the company's growth.

Sebastian Lange replaces Gschwandtner at Brückner Servtec. He started his career at Brückner Group in 2018 as a senior sales manager at Brückner Maschinenbau. He later moved to Brueckner Group USA as VP of the film division. 

The Brückner Group, based in Siegsdorf, Germany, manufactures plastics processing equipment including thermoformers, film extruders and packaging lines.
