FreeScan UE Pro Shining 3D’s FreeScan UE family of blue laser scanners can perform metrology-grade accuracy inspection, as well as scanning tasks for additive manufacturing and reverse engineering applications. They can be used to efficiently scan difficult surfaces, including black and highly reflective ones.
What’s new? Multiple scanning modes. The FreeScan UE Pro, the newest member of the product line, employs a grid of 13 pairs of crossed lines to scan large objects quickly. It also can use five parallel lines to scan fine details, or a single laser line for scanning deep holes and narrow areas.
Benefits Accurate, user-friendly scanning. The scanner is lightweight and ergonomic, and its software has a short learning curve. It also delivers consistent results when used with large or small workpieces, with accuracy up to 0.02mm. Scan data is easily imported into all mainstream 3D inspection and design software programs, and software updates are announced with a pop-up notification, with direct downloads made simple.
