The U.S. Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Institute (ARM) and Ohio’s Department of Education both endorsed Universal Robots’ (UR) cobots and educational curriculum. UR becomes the first robot manufacturer picked for Pittsburgh-based ARM’s new endorsement program.
Meanwhile, Ohio is the first state to complete evaluation of UR’s courses and add them to the state’s Industry-Recognized Credential list. Students taking the courses in Ohio will earn six credit points.
With headquarters in Odense, Denmark, UR has been producing cobots since 2008.
