Quality-control instruments Dynisco’s portfolio of inline and laboratory testing equipment for the plastics industry includes melt-flow indexers, capillary rheometers, pressure sensors and process indicators.
What’s new? Connectivity to the cloud. Users of Dynisco’s products can send test results to Dynisco Cloud Connect, where, via the Microsoft Azure platform, they can analyze and compare data, and build presentations. The company’s newest products, including its ViscoIndicator online rheometer and LMI5500 melt flow indexer, are natively connected; other, older products, such as the LMI4000 and LMI5000 melt flow indexers and the LCR7000 capillary rheometer, can connect using a small, single-board computer called an edge device. The edge device connects to a port on the testing instrument, transforms the instrument’s data into a suitable format and sends the data to the cloud.
Benefits More efficient data management. Using the cloud, companies can better leverage their data. They can correlate data from multiple machines and take advantage of archived information to gain insight into trends, such as maintenance, labor and equipment utilization, and operational efficiency. Dynisco Cloud Connect provides safe, secure, round-the-clock data management.
