Plasma treater produces uniform coatings

March 1, 2020
Transient Plasma Systems' new treating system produces uniform, high-quality, thin coatings.

Transient plasma surface-treatment system This system uses repeated nanosecond pulses of energy to produce a wide plasma beam capable of cleaning, activating and coating the surfaces of plastic parts and films, including medical devices and parts with complex shapes. A 70mm treating head is available; other sizes can be supplied, if needed.

What’s new? The system, which came out late last year. Compared with earlier versions, it employs a new, more compact pulse generator and more user-friendly interface.

Benefits The production of uniform, high-quality, thin coatings. The pulsed-power treatment system provides precise control over plasma. It is appropriate for challenging applications, including biomedical and aerospace projects.
