New bridge CMMs meet variety of metrology needs

Bridge CMMs These coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) from Tarus offer flexible, all-around metrology capability for plastic processors and mold and tool makers. Each of the three sizes of CMM (small bridge, medium bridge and large bridge) comes with Renishaw controllers, scales and probing systems, and can be used with laser scanners.

What’s new? The product line. While Tarus has a history of making horizontal arm and gantry CMMs, these are the company’s first bridge-style CMMs.

Benefits Stability and accuracy. The all-granite plate, cross rail and measuring arm offer a solid base and consistent thermal expansion. Tarus manufactures its CMMs in the U.S., and they all come with a two-year warranty.
