Wittmann expands line of temperature controllers

The Wittmann Battenfeld Tempro plus D100 model can handle temperatures up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tempro plus D Wittmann Battenfeld’s Tempro plus D circulating- water temperature controllers for injection molds come in single- and dual-zone versions. The models feature a stainless-steel heat exchanger and touch-screen control. They can be fully integrated into the control system of the company’s injection molding machines and are Industry 4.0-enabled.  

What’s new? The D100 model, which can handle temperatures of up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. It is capable of a heat output of 9 kilowatts and has a maximum flow rate of 10.5 gallons per minute. The pressurized, closed system is equipped with a wear-resistant flow-measurement device as standard. The D100 joins several other models in the Tempro plus D series, which offer a variety of flow rates and maximum operating temperatures.

Benefits Cost savings. The D100 is less expensive than units that are designed to withstand temperatures greater than 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
