CAM2 Faro’s metrology software offers a single platform to manage data from Faro’s full suite of metrology hardware. It can be used for a wide range of tasks including part or mold inspection, reverse engineering and CAD-to-part comparison. It is available in a Full version that can handle point cloud data and work with contact or non-contact devices, and a Probing version for use with contact devices only.
What’s new? CAM2 2019. This update of last year’s release relied on extensive user feedback and includes a built-in Universal CAD Import. This feature directly imports native CAD files, eliminating potential conversion errors as the data is moved between programs.
Benefits Ease of use. An intuitive interface means it’s simple for even inexperienced users to set up, manage and oversee workflows. The Smart Guidance feature uses visible and audible prompts to provide step-by-step direction to new users.
