Elmet LSR dosing system is precise, cost-effective

The Top 3100 is ideal for processors who run clearly defined applications over extended periods.

Top 3100 Equipped with the same processing unit and additive dosing system as Elmet’s other liquid-silicone-rubber (LSR) dosing systems, this more basic version is ideal for processors that have applications with clearly defined requirements over extended periods. Molders can use it to make very small parts.

What’s new? The dosing system, the successor of the company’s Top 3000 that has been available for around two decades. The new system hit the market in the latter half of last year. It features the company’s new M-Type pump, designed for more-controlled and higher output of all ranges and viscosities of LSR.

Benefits Precision, process stability, reliability and cost-efficiency. According to Elmet, the Top 3100 combines the high precision of the company’s high-end systems with equipment that is reduced to the core components. It’s capable of short cycle times when filling larger moldings and with large numbers of nests. Also, the system’s modular design minimizes maintenance requirements.
