Taglens-T11 Mitutoyo’s new varifocal lens can be used at different distances to inspect workpieces with features of varying heights; it can even take pictures of moving objects. The lens can be included with a non-contact inspection system from Mitutoyo or specified as part of a quality-control vision system designed by end users.

What’s new? The lens, which came out earlier this year. It can change focus quickly, allowing it to rapidly increase the depth of field of any optical system.
