D-Melt device measures melt index, elasticity

D-Melt This new device from Goettfert performs two functions: It determines both the melt index and the elongation viscosity of a polymer melt with one measurement. Applications include process monitoring and inspection of incoming materials. The precise, high-resolution force sensor records and graphically displays force and velocity.

What’s new? The D-Melt, which was introduced in March at Antec in Detroit.
