Niigata Machinery Co. Ltd., which has been a subsidiary of Haitian International since early 2023, will transition sales and service of its injection molding machines (IMMs) in the U.S. and Canada to Absolute Haitian Corp., effective March 1. It anticipates the move will enhance product diversity, strengthen customer support and align with Niigata’s construction of facilities in Japan to unify operations and innovation.
Niigata Machinery acquired the injection molding business of Niigata Machine Techno Co. Ltd. in 2023, and Haitian International — the world’s largest supplier of IMMs — provides capital support to the company.
As Haitian’s sales and service agent in the U.S. and Canada since 2006, Absolute Haitian has sold about 4,500 Haitian IMMs in the market it serves. The partnership with Niigata will enable it to expand its product offerings.
“We are delighted to be working with the Niigata product line and its customers,” said Absolute Haitian President Glenn Frohring. “Our team is committed to ensure a smooth transition through direct communication in the coming weeks.”
Based in Moncks Corner, S.C., Absolute Haitian has offices in Worcester, Mass., and Parma, Ohio.
